On her 3rd birthday. Very proud to be a 'Big girl'

Annike has developed into a cheeky personality. She is assertive and see no reason for not being able to do what her big sister Arianne could. It takes a bit of reverse psychology to get her to do what we want because Annike likes doing things in her own terms and in her own time. She is a very happy child and could play on her own for hours although she always looks for Arianne to play with. Annike has a great relationship with her sister but could sometimes make Arianne cry.

She is a bit of a 'suplada', a Filipino term for 'grumpy' and does not readily smile at people and has a definite 'cheekiness' about her, living up to her Chinese sign, the monkey. Our baby girl enjoys new things and is a bold and daring child. She loves going to school and has started roller skating with Arianne and also rides her scooter. She could also sing and dance very well.

Our youngest absolutely loves swirly, flowing dresses, which is why she loves dressing up as a princess. Her ultimate favourite is Snow White, followed closely by Cinderella. There would be some days when she would refuse to respond to any name other than 'Snow White'. Ninety-seven percent of the time, she would only put on a dress to go out.
